I'm going to try and do one or two that show the song from the ground up, maybe my early notes, an acoustic version, a midi demo and then some studio footage. Might a cool like before/after thing . . .

I agree with Joe...some bits of recordings as they progress would be fascinating....oh, and the writing part, too! In your spare time, of course...(grin)

Tim,

You're pretty much the coolest person I know. I feel like a proud parent or something....you're making things happen and you get a ton of respect for it. I will be passing your site on to all my friends so I will take you up on that helicopter....or if you feel like swapping it for an electric violin that would be ok with me.

Keep on rocking,
Jo

Hi Tim,

The site is a great idea - documenting the whole recording process from start to finish. It's good to see you're putting in the legwork into pre-production - this saves loads of time in the studio, especially if you get to rehearse all the players in a live setting. 14-16 songs is an enormous amount (is Andy really working you all that hard?!!) when you bear in mind that most visitors, fans or industry people will make up their mind about you after hearing one or two tracks, but hey, if anyone can pull it off, you can!

It would be interesting to do an equivalent blog for the writing process.

Another suggestion - in your videos, let's have some early live acoustic performances of their songs in their raw state; it would be really exciting to hear them develop as the arrangements are developed.

Looking forward!

Tim

Alright then, the ice is officially broken. By now it's probably floating in some big, damn beverage some where. So feel free, post on, do your worst. But not too, bad.
